What does her weight have to do with anything? Granted, I found the report idiotic as well, but to use her weight as a means of discrediting her reporting is asinine. I was equally dismayed when Mike Malloy was doing the same thing last night on his show.

We like to think we are better than the neocons and many of us were outraged that the only attack some of them could make on Michael Moore (and Fahrenheit 9-11) is that he is fat. So how does attacking Candy Crowley(sp?) because of her weight make us any different?

You know, the amount of fat hatred witnessed here at DU and other left-wing/liberal/progressive boards is disheartening to say the least. Fat is a physical descriptor. Obese is a medical term. Neither term implies anything about a person's character, ethics, intelligence, personality or even necessarily their lifestyle.
