Quinnipiac Poll: Kerry leads 47-42 in Pa and leads with vets
John Kerry holds a 47-42 point lead in Pennsylvania with Ralph Nader attracting 4% in a new poll released today. This represents little change from a July poll which gave Kerry a 46-41 point lead.

Interestingly Kerry leads 46-42 among vets and their families and among these same voters Nader actually attracts 6%. Vets and their families are among the most anti-Iraqi war in Pennsylvania opposing the war by a 54-41 margin.

Bush has a 45% approval rating and 52% disapproval rating.

In the Senate race Specter leads Hoeffel 48-33.

3. Excellent news and thank you for posting!
If Bush cannot nail down Penn., Michigan and Florida, he is HUGE trouble. That means he must sweep Wisconsin, Ohio, Iowa, and New Mexico, plus all of the south.

That is highly unlikely since he is trailing in all those other states and the south is dangerously close to be tied with Kerry.

We still have a lot of time to go, plus the RNC, but thus far, this looks really good! :toast:

4. He is making a big effort here in Wisconsin
campaigning even in places like Chippewa Falls. Right now I actually think Bush might have a small lead here, but its close and I know that Kerry is working it hard as well.

2. those senate race numbers
are encouraging. Specter is under 50 percent and people don't know Hoeffel yet. When his name ID comes up, that race will be very close.

7. I think this could be a real upset
if the dems win back the senate it will be with Specter losing. That will be an early indicator.
