Visualize the Republican Convention....
Senator Norm Coleman will be the emcee - the same task that Gov Bill Richardson performed at the Dem Convention. He is a former Democrat who only switched Parties in 1996. I suppose he may reference Ronald Reagan and say he didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Party left him.

He will introduce such luminaries as Rudolph Guiliani and Arnold Schwartzenegger - both moral examples for us all. But "Rudy" will be introduced as a courageous leader on 9/11. Arnold will be introduced as the person that "shocked" the Democrats in California.

No doubt, there will be testimonials from the religious nuts and the Bush worshippers. They will tell us all about the number of abortions that dropped dramatically during the Clinton Administration - oh no, just kidding. But they will tell us about the "great" job Bush has done at "protecting" our children and our nation. Lies will be more plentiful than flies on crapola.

1. I don't think I can watch.
I seriously don't think I can watch the RNC without a good, sturdy puke bucket on hand. In the interest of keeping myself educated, i will attempt it. But if it starts to affect my health, I may have to look away.

3. And don't forget Dubya.
People say he ain't too bright, and he don't speak so good, but he's got "heart and soul." He's going to get up there and knock his acceptance speech out of the park. Kerry has flash and that Yale background (Dubya's Yale ties don't count, because although he went to Yale, he certainly wasn't educated there, and besides, he couldn't have got in without help from his dad, whereas Kerry earned his way in), but Dubya is what we need right now. Dubya offers a steady hand at the wheel of our country, slashing taxes when we're at war, launching two invasions of other countries in not even four years in office, running up gigantic deficits, announcing troop pullouts in the face of a global threat of terrorism, quitting on the hunt for Osama to go off and invade Iraq, and tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts as the solution to every problem that comes his way. Where would we be without him?

6. Troop Reduction
You oppose troop reductions in Iraq, if our troops are not needed?

Or, were you speaking of the troop withdrawls from Europe?

7. Kerry has already said he would like to withdraw troops in 6 months..
from Iraq? How smart is it to tell your enemies your next move? There is going to be 14 bases, per Bush plan, in the country of Iraq. Now who do you think is going to be stationed at those bases??
