Where is John Edwards???? Clue anyone?
I was hoping that Edwards would be the pitbull Kerry needs to go after fuckface Dick Cheney. Is the media ignoring Edwards or has he just disappeared. Any sightings??????

7. Actually I think he was in Birmingham yesterday.
I wanted to go see him, but don't have $1000 handy for a fundraiser.

4. Edwards has been working the Mason-Dixon line, while
General Clark went to Alaska.

5. Thanks all, there must be a news black-out on Edwards, I have heard
nothing about him from the media. Maybe that's to be expected.

6. Oh absolutely. The media wants to stay far away from
the Dems glowing star. Might make Bushco look bad.

9. They are doing something right because.....
even in the deep south, Georgia is only showing a "weak" support for Bush now. http://www.electoral-vote.com/

8. Blame the mass media
Edited on Wed Aug-18-04 10:33 AM by Warpy
for the lack of coverage on Kerry/Edwards. They're really terrified that Bush will be thrown out of office and that he'll start enforcing antitrust laws, especially regarding the media. Without Powell's nitwit son at the FCC, they know they can't get more mergers rubberstamped, can't continue to gobble up every independent station left out there.

Write the networks, tell them you resent the lack of real campaign coverage, that talking heads describing it like a horserace is not serving the public interest. Let them know you're onto them for doing such a piss poor job.

10. Media ignores Edwards while inflating Cheney's critical remarks
I can guarantee Repubs and media are watching Edwards' every move and listening to his every word. But since they haven't found any missteps or sensational remarks that could be turned back against him or Kerry, no coverage is seen.

11. I think he was in Arkansas yesterday
I saw a clip of him on the News Hour. He was talking about health insurance and their tax plan to give up to $1000 credit for premiums.
Of course they only showed it after they showed * saying something like "You can't be pro-doc, pro-patient and pro-trial attorney, and my opponent has already made his choice." :grr:
