Would Bush be for the Vietnam War knowing what he knows now?
Edited on Wed Aug-18-04 04:30 PM by gulliver
If Bush still thinks the Vietnam war was a good idea, why didn't he fight in it?

I wish someone would ask him that. I don't see how Bush can refuse to answer, and I don't see an answer that would be good for him. I'm afraid that the AWOL controversy has overshadowed Bush's status as a yellow-feathered chickenhawk during Vietnam.

6. That's a good question
He said he didn't want to get his head shot off, well why? Doesn't he love America? Didn't he support his President? The troops? What gives Georgie??

9. Bush made a public statement that he had been to war......before
9/11, I believe. Something about "I've raised twins and I've been to war...believe me, raising twins was easier".

Someone should ask him to explain that comment.
