Need advice on replying to Republican campaign solicitation
Today I received a survey and solicitation for campaign contribution from the Republican National Committee. I am surprised that they should send this to me. Perhaps they figured that since I live in the Republican-dominated Collin County, Texas, I must be a Republican.
Here are some of their survey questions:

Do you support President Bush's initiatives to promote the safety and security of all Americans?

Do you support the use of air strikes against any country that offers safe harbor or aid to individuals or organizations committed to further attacks on America?

Should the Inheritance or "Death Tax" be permanently repealed?

Do you think U.S. troops should have to serve under United Nations' commanders?

The response options are yes, no, undecided.

Several of these questions are tricky and designed to elicit responses that support Bush, even when one chooses no or undecided.

To top it all, they are asking for contribution of $25 or more. How should i response to this mailing? I dislike Bush so much that I am afraid I may write something terrible that may get me in trouble.

1. If they provided a postage paid reply envelope,
send them a bumper sticker of your choice.

3. Why did they survey you

Because it's a 'push' survey. But I bet you already knew that. Nice technique.

At least they erased the question about McCain's fathering a black child.
