What Campaign Effect Will Troop Realignment And Missile Shields Have?
Two major national security policy differences have emerged in the last week - massive troop shifts and missile defense. How will the public react to these 11th hour issues?

Here's my guess: People will think, "It's great and all to have troops brought back home (although the won't really), but hey these aren't even the guys getting shot at. And, come to think of it, I kinda liked having our troops stationed all over the world providing security. It kind of made me proud. Is this going to isolate us even more?"

On missile shields: "Sure it's something worth looking into, but how the hell is it going to stop a dirty bomb? Or, say, an airplane flying into a building or two?"

I think that Bush is clearly nervous about Kerry's bump in the polls regarding national security (actually, just about everything they do indicates anxiety). He's trying to come out as more hawkish, but he just seems to look out of date and misguided.

Nervous much, George?

1. Can any stupid MF*cker spell MAGINOT LINE?
I want to add a few choice terms like asshole and shithead and auto-lobotomized, in-bred, genetically deficient cretins, but I ran out of space in the intro.

But let me tell you how I really feell.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

If instead we had a flexible, space or airborne, ready to use anti-missile or even boat system, that discharged energy guaranteed to destroy WMDs, I would be the first in line to support it. Pay taxes. Enjoy the safety. Agree with it. BUT THIS AINT IT!

BUT shitheads, mutherfockers, morans and Halliburton clones, an Alaska-based system, driven into cold, icy, ground, not tested, not proven, not capable of anything close to some reasonable theater defense - THIS IS FUCKING STUPID.

To make it worse, I wonder just how much time we spent preparing our former allies in ROK and Germany about this major disruption to their economies and defenses. I suspect, very little. Anyone recall the impact of Subic Bay and the airbase there? The devastation we caused? Yeah, there was a itty bitty volcano, but our ally suffered badly.

3. HELL yes, with a capital Hell
To think that repukelicans in congress refused to fund that during the Clinton era still bothers me to no end. What THE F*%K were they thinking about?

A brilliant idea, easily accomplished, easily paid for and an investment to secure the entire globe's safety.

But NOOOOO. CLinton's blow jobs were more important.
