Kerry's Medals and service in Vietnam.

All of us who are voting for Mr. Kerry in the coming election have to remember one thing. John Kerry actually WENT to Vietnam. George Bush did not. John Kerry received war commendations and medals for his service to other men in Vietnam. Bush, again, did not.

We're letting the right wing define the debate on this issue. It shouldn't be about whether or not John Kerry deserved his medals, but that he actually WENT. He knows intimately what it's like to be in a combat situation, he knows first hand what it can do to a person.

That being said, I trust the Kerry campaign to do what's best for Mr. Kerry. They've done a superb job, and there's no reason to think that they won't continue to do so. On this issue and all of the others, I trust that they know what they're doing. If not, then we're screwed with anyone in the white house.
