New Mexico: Kerry 46% Bush 46%
The latest Rasmussen poll of NM
Kerry 46%
Bush 46%
Badnarik 4% (the libertarian candidate)

Last month they had Kerry leading by seven points so now they took NM from leaning Kerry to toss up.

4. no not losing
this particular poll has them tied. Also while it did go blue in 2000 if you recall it was by under a 500 vote margin.

10. not true
Rasmussen is a Republican firm, that uses faulty methodology. His lead in NM is 4-7 points in every other poll.

7. I think Kerry will win in the end
It will be close though just as it was in 2000. The Libertarian may help Kerry.

5. remember
this is Rasmussen. Their methodology is flawed. Other recent polls there show us with a four point lead.

11. Zogby has had NM too close to call...
I would expect Rasmussen to suddenly show dramatic tightening in the battleground states. It's all part of their PR push for Bush.

Meanwhile, Zogby is starting to poll Bush territory, Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina and Virginia as battleground states.

Zogby International will soon begin tracking the 2004 Presidential election in four new Battleground States: Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina and Virginia. Polling in these four states will be available as a supplementary package in addition to the 16 States already being followed. We will begin our interactive survey on August 16th and continue until October 4th. Five reports will be published (1 report in August, 2 reports in September, and 2 reports in October), examining the findings in these additional states.

12. Boosh Gets a Boost From the Smear Boat Liars
What else could it be?

There hasn't been ANY good news for the regime lately.
Iraq is going to Hell in a bucket and so is the job market.

As long as the TV keeps repeating the lies,
swing/undecided voters will swing toward Bush* because of them.

Kerry may get very few of the undecided voters, since he has no
way to reach most of them, but they're getting Rethug talking points
on TV many times every day.

Can we win with only 25-30% of the undecided voters?

I think we can, but we will have to get every occasional voter
and never-voted-before who can be induced to vote for Kerry to
come out of the woodwork.

We need to do a Venezuela on them.
