Poll question: Will 2004 Nader Voters have BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS?
Edited on Thu Aug-19-04 01:30 PM by Dems Will Win
Given that the naive bought Nader's BS in 2000 that there was no difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. But today the Nader voter cannot fairly claim there is no difference--there is clearly a difference in BLOOD. With President Gore, there would have obviously been no 9/11, as the testimony of Richard Clarke, Coleen Rowley and Sibel Edmonds and many other facts prove, nor would there have been the invasion of Iraq. Afghanistan let's say might have happened as a response to other smaller terror attacks but 9/11 and Iraq clearly would have been avoided.

Given that Kerry will clearly not be invading Syria, Iran and other countries named in the PNAC Plan revealed in Wes Clark's book, which says Bush and Cheney plan to do just that, there is clearly a difference in BLOOD by voting for Bush, never mind that he will reinstate the DRAFT to accomplish his nazi-con dreams.

So if people vote for Nader in 2004 knowing all this, would you say that 2004 Nader would have blood on their hands when Bush invades those other countries with a reinstated DRAFT ? Or not?

11. Nader voters in 2000
can be forgiven for being misguided IMO, we knew a Bush "Presidency" would be bad, but be honest who knew it would be this bad? There is no excuse, however, for anyone who would vote for Nader again after four years of the worst president in US history.

13. Does that include those of us who voted for Nader
in states that went to Gore? And, BTW, isn't it Bush and the Repubs who have the blood on their hands? I voted for Ralph because he made sense, he still does but you can be sure my vote will be for Kerry/Edwards this time around.

3. c'mon...if Kerry loses this-don't blame Nader for crying out loud
Put the blame where it belongs-

on the bush-cheneycorp for stealing it or Kerry for screwing it up so badly he blows it. He has ben handed MORE than enough ammo by dumbya to get elected.
To blame Nader who is a "nonentity" in this election- unless you fall for the repuke tactics of MAKING him more than he is- is a waste of energy and you'd be missing the point.

The point is- it is not Nader who will lose it...its having it stolen electronically or having Kerry blow the message and not appeal to Dem & Indy voters.

I frankly do not see that happening--I think Kerry can win this . I sure hope he does.

4. To vote for anybody other than Kerry is treason.
And Nader is a traitor to his country.

5. No passes this time
I can excuse what I think was idealism over instinct last time. This time, its not even instinct - you have to know that Bush is slightly more evil than Satan. No passes, no excuses.

Oh, and Raplh doesn't even make sense any more - the issues have changed, Ralph hasn't.

14. Obviously there was a difference between BUsh and Gore
What I wonder is why Kerry is using Al Gore's old playbook of running to the right of your opponent and not differentiating yourself from them.

15. I agree
An "either you're w/us or against us" poll does not serve anyone democratically.

16. I don't think Nader will be a factor at all in 2004
And if you really think about it, how much was he a factor in 2000?

Yes, I do believe he did take votes away from Gore thus helping Shrub but 2000 came down to Florida and when those people voted for Nader, they really had no idea that the repukes would steal the election.

I don't think Nader will be a factor this year mainly b/c his supporters are just not as strong plus the DEMS are more united than ever.

17. Greens' Calim that there is no difference is a fraud
The difference is glaring. This page shows how Dems in Congress voted on issues working people care about as compared to Repugs:
