CNN Crossfire topic today: "Did KERRY go too far?!!?"
Excuse me? They're asking, "Did KERRY go too far?"!!

The rightwing smearmongers trashed his military service, his honor, and the credibility of the US Navy, and they're asking, "Did KERRY go too far?"!!!

The Chimp in Chief refused to denounce the SmearVets even after Kerry denounced the MoveOn Ads, showing that he's using the SmearVets to do his dirty work, Kerry calls him on it, and they're asking, "Did KERRY go too far?!"!!!!

What is WRONG with CNN!??!??!??

7. I went to their website
and found out that this question will be debated by Mike Pence(R) and Al Wynn (D). Anyone know Al Wynn, who's speaking for our side? I say we hit them with a few choice e-mails answering their "question" before the show starts.

11. Albert R. Wynn
Congressman Albert R. Wynn represents the 4th Congressional District of Maryland, which includes parts of Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. He defines his mission in Congress as helping to expand economic opportunity for all Americans.

Elected in 1992, Rep. Wynn currently serves on the powerful and prestigious Energy and Commerce Committee, where he is a member of the Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality, the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet, and the Subcommittee on Environment and Hazardous Waste. The Energy and Commerce Committee has jurisdiction over a wide range of issues, including telecommunications, trade, utility regulation, energy, health, securities and biotechnology. Rep. Wynn is a member of the Democratic Message Group, and a Deputy Democratic Whip (a party organizer in Congress.) Wynn also Chairs the Congressional Black Caucus Task Force on Campaign Finance Reform, and the Caucus Minority Business Task Force.

Congressman Wynn is a known advocate for federal employees and small business development. Throughout his tenure in Congress, Wynn has fought to protect the salaries and benefits of federal employees. He also has led efforts to end discrimination in the federal workforce. Wynn has co-sponsored important legislation on increasing the minimum wage, job training and increasing access to child care.

During the 105th Congress, Wynn successfully passed legislation to improve federal contracting opportunities for small and minority businesses. Recently, during the 107th Congress, Wynn introduced additional contracting legislation. As a result of his many efforts on behalf of small businesses, for the second time, he received the Small Business Administration Administrator s Leadership Award.

In his community, Rep. Wynn sponsors an annual job fair, federal procurement fair/ business expo, a college financial aid workshop, and a student leadership workshop. He also coordinates food distributions for the less fortunate every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Rep. Wynn received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973. After a year of graduate study in Public Administration at Howard University, Wynn entered Georgetown University and earned his law degree in 1977. Following graduation, he became Director of the Prince George's County Consumer Protection Commission. In 1982, he started the law office of Albert R. Wynn and Associates. That same year, Wynn was elected to the Maryland Legislature, where he served a decade, first as a member of the House of Delegates and later in the Maryland Senate, where he was also Deputy Majority Whip

Rep. Wynn is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and attends Maple Springs Baptist Church. Rep. Wynn is married to Gaines Clore Wynn, who is an artist and art educator. 15. Yeah...but the Bush Camp doesn't like this topic one bit...
The one thing I hated about the Swiftboat jerks was that their lies got to be played over and over and over by the media, even while some were in the process of debunking it. The coverage of ad campaigns is what truly gives these things a life of their own.

Now the Sh*tboats had their lies refuted and debunked and so their sh*tboats are now in the process of sinking. Kerry's comments, however, are truthful, which, under the scrutiny of pundits, will grow legs and run for a while. I love the fact that people want to debate what he said because in doing so, they have to keep airing what he said. This story will hopefully run right up to the GOP convention and will be lingering in the background during the whole thing...

No, Karl Rove wants this thing to die fast, without coverage...And it just isn't going to happen.
