Now I understand Zell as keynoter--its a lamo Bushite comeback
The New Yorker says that Kerry is hitting paydirt with ads showing regular republicans stating why they just won't be able to support Bush this time around. Every Bushite tactic is a lamo mirror image: Bush is missing from Alabama, they come back on Kerry missing from Cambodia. Bush takes vacations, Kerry misses committee meetings. Bush sits out the war, Kerry fakes being a war hero. The bushies are totally on the defensive, with no ideas except to "you too" kerry in entirely weak and stupid way.

Now they have Miller--yet another conservative southerner talking trash. They think THAT guy is going to resonate among independents? But its all they have. So weak, so sad.

2. Think about it...
...Norm Coleman (switched to the GOP in 1996) is the MC, and Zell Miller (who has lost his mind) will nominate him. With so many thawed out Nixon, Ford and Reagan cronies serving in Bush's administration, why is the GOP turning to these "newbies" and moderates to be the "face" of their convention?

3. Problem is, Zig Zag Zell isn't a "regular Democrat"
and everybody knows it. He's a politician. Big difference between a regular Democrat and a politician Democrat.

4. I agree. But you can't have Joe Average on the keynote, either
I still think it is a lamo comeback.
