Kerry and intel meetings
http://www.factcheck.org/article.aspx?docID=241 - I saw the new article from FactCheck regarding Kerry's missing intel meetings. They seem to do a good job of documenting Kerry's missing the meetings, but I heard Begala say the other day on Crossfire that this assertion by the Administration is incorrect.

Anyone have another source on this matter?

1. I heard they were counting the meetings he spoke at
there's some kind of counting if you spoke, but not just if you attend. And there were lots of rethugs who have never spoken and thus they have counts of 0.

and there's a question of how they even got that count because it's all supposed to be secret.

Any possibility of criminal charges for disclosing that secret info?

2. Factcheck is a Republican front
designed to obscure the truth by appearing non-partisan.

(sorry for the repeat post, but a reminder and some available links never hurt)

Look at Factcheck's conclusion in the SmearVets for Bush case:

At this point, 35 years later and half a world away, we see no way to resolve which of these versions of reality is closer to the truth.

By the way, they also give Bush a pass on being AWOL, failing to examine the question of whether he showed up, and repeating the Bush campaign spin "he was credited". New Evidence Supports Bush Military Service (Mostly)
