Lemme get this straight, Joe Scarballs MSNBC is down on Kerry
cause he came back and spoke out against the war???

Like Kerry did the most atrocious thing in the world? Like Kerry was a commie or a traitor?? Joe uses these tones of voices and pounds them home with repetition.....Uses a clip of Kerry saying those godawful words of protesting the war.....

I suppose Joe don't look at the effect....that if no one said anything, the war would have lingered on much longer with more attendent deaths /injuries. Did more people die cause of Kerry? The answer is NO....its the opposite, Less people died

and for that....Kerry is more of a hero....Joe got it ass backwards..he is an evil guy with a suspicious death in his office on his hands....

Besides, War teaches a fondness of cruelty and death. We are training our people to like death and misery... Is it any wonder we suffer so many SYNDROMES in our villages.towns?

12. He is POISONING American Minds with a one sided view.
That Pubs can no wrong and the evil Lib Dems are the scourge of the Universe.

This kind of thinking leads to blind Loyalty which in effect leads to poor odds in the Success Dept.

Huh, Georgie, would ya'? Was Vietnam a mistake Georgie, or not? Somebody posted this earlier and this is the question that needs to be asked. Since the Smearvets brought it up and all.

7. Is it THE WAR????, The We gatta win Mentality????
Explain this to those missing their limbs, their abilty to smell, hear, or see.

Explain pain to those who come back with persistant NIGHTMARES, Depression, and a lousy feeling in general....

The JOEs out there thinking as he does...lose track of the price, the pain, suffering, and loss. FOR WHAT??? pertaining to Nam...what for? Do we Honor our dead by not giving up so we can say WE WIN????
We stay the battle for 1 more year, er, 3 more years, oops, 5 more years.....its insanity....sooner or later we will find a way to end the war....

In Nams case, the price became obvious it was too high. Too much Blood and Treasure....to save face....pull out and call it a victory in the end....

If the war ended sooner, maybe Herman, Studs, Wrench, and Chuckie be drinking with us at our gatherings....

6. "Killer" Joe must suck up to the Bushies. They hold the key to his pardon
for manslaughter.

Remember what happened to Scott Ritter? His sealed court documents got unsealed soon after he left the reservation.

13. Revisionist History...Again
There's a group of angry Nam Vets...who've lived with this evil war in a wierd way. Their fathers fought in WWII or even Korea...glorious wars, where Vietnam was the "dirty war". These people have carried around this stigma for all these years and have special hatred for those of us who worked hard to save lives by protesting the war. These are the ones who came back and got spat on and called "baby killers"...not by us anti-war folks, but by their own...the WWII Vet and his redneck VFW buddies.

Joey was probably a spawn at the time, but a majority of us were against the war and, by 1971, so was most of the nation. Just like today, a small, vocal minority attempts to write its own view of history instead of confronting reality.

14. I suppose the thrill of victory,or whatever, is such it produces the mind
set we see then and we see now.

We avoid the pain/price of war by deluding ourselves that it is acceptable and imperative....

19. Even if Kerry wins, they're going after him.
That's what I'm seeing. They're going to absolutely destroy him, I have no doubt, and there's little or nothing that can be done about it. They have the power and the money and they'll undermine him just like they did Clinton. Not only that but a lot of people are not necessarily voting for Kerry but against Bush, which means if things don't change drastically they'll join forces with them against Kerry. This is going to get ugly. :(

20. Americans need to support the Leaders who do the right things.
I have no doubt Kerry will do whats in the Best Interest for America and its citizens, now and into the Future.

We, the People, should be watching and supporting good leaders who manage to get elected. If we don't, we run the chance for poor replacements...such as Bush.
