1. Welcome to DU
It's tradition for people watching TV to keep the cube-dwellers up-to-date on what's going on in good TV shows. Please let us know what happens. Dobbs has a brain and uses it.

10. Thank you....
I just don't understand when there are so many questions regarding the "honorable service" of Bush during this period why the spin is going against Kerry.!!!!

Kerry says he would like to talk about the issues confronting our country. Why is not the Kerry-Edwards campaign forcing bush to speak up about HIS record? Why do I have to listen to an advertizement from Adelphia (promoting their services) to concern myself with "no child left behind"!!! "Why" is so many reasons "WHY" Bush has never attempted to fulfill the propaganda which his campaign of 2000 forced upon the American people.

Why is Kerry allowing Bush to walk away from unfilled, and contrary promises, as would be exemplified by his performance during; the last three and a half years. THOSE are the important questions of leadership which Kerry needs challenge.

I do have a feeling that after the Republican Convention, that the game Kerry plays, politically MAY prove to be much different. Why SHOW all your cards until the ante is closer to the call!

6. Too bad Kerry's such a nice guy
Because if it were me, and I was about to get elected president, I'd have this sack of shit audited every year for the rest of his life.

7. O'Neill has no credibility - got favors from John Ashcroft
O'Neill is the head of the Houston law firm Clements, O'Neill, Pierce, Wilson & Fulkerson. Clements is deceased. One of O'Neill's partners whom he hired, Margaret Wilson is the former General Counsel of Texas Governor George W. Bush (1998-2000) according to the attorney bios at the firm's website. Furthermore, O'Neill's legal clients include major Bush supporters, such as Duke Energy and Koch Industries (see client list at law firm's website below). Both Koch and Duke were facing criminal penalties for pollution and other shenanigans when Bush came into office, companies which presumably John O'Neill himself was defending in court. For example, Koch was facing 91 felony counts, with a potential of 100 years behind bars for its corporate executives, along with a $350 million fine for dumping 90 metric tons of pollutants into the environment in Texas. Just a couple of months into his Presidency, Bush had virtually all charges dropped against both companies, with just a slap on the wrist. I assume John O'Neill was very grateful for being able to announce to the clients he was defending that George Bush had done them a great favor. I believe that Koch Industries alone, reportedly the largest private oil and energy company in the United States, contributed over $800,000 to Republicans over the years, including generous donations to George Bush, with zero to Democrats or Liberal causes.

11. Bawhahah.....O'neill & Co. suing Bill Frists family..Damn TRIAL lawyers!!
United States of America Ex Rel. James M. Thompson v. Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation, et al.

In this case, our firm serves as co-counsel in the original qui tam action filed against Columbia Medical Systems and its affiliates for billions of dollars of purported medicare fraud. The decisions issued in this case are generally regarded as among the most important ever issued in the field of medicare law and have been the subject of numerous articles, symposiums, and seminars.
