What's everyone think of MI Gov. Jennifer Granholm for VP?
The more I see of this woman, the more I am liking her for VP. What about everyone else? In fact, why does it have to be a white, older man? Joe Biden? Why? He's gifted with the tongue. So why not a woman?

6. I'm from Michigan so I know a bit more than many about her.
I even had a good argument with her over reimbursements when she was Corp. Council to Wayne County. :)

10. Unfortunately, not that good in an exectutive position.
She's been an incredibly weak governor and would likely lose if she weren't term limited out for the next election. She was a very good state Attorney General, though and I think she would be a good selection for the supreme court.

She's a naturalized US citizen, and therefore unable to be president or vice president

14. Even if she were eligble, she's not that impressive
and not terribly popular in her state at the moment. Though, to her credit and thankfully she beat that asswipe in '06.

15. She's Canadian and she's not a popular governor
Obama would touch her put her in his cabinet no matter what.
