Olbermann clip on Bush's Q&A sessions
Just a quick clip before the commercial break, Olbermann showed clips of one of Bush's lame question and answer sessions. First clip: Bush saying he'd answer the question after he told a story. Second clip: Bush saying he'd like to share a story before answering the question. Third clip: Bush has some points to make, and he'll answer the question if he has time...

1. "Karl, Karl, where are you.... is this ear-thingie working?..."
"I'll answer your questions as soon as Karl is back..."

2. In oregon last week...
The local channels were showing Bush live, and the anchors kept saying that they would cut to Kerry when he began speaking at the rally in downtown Portland. So it's dragging on and on, and Bush is doing this "one more story" crap. Every so often, one of the channels would switch really quickly to the Kerry rally, but then back to Bush. They kept saying "as soon as Kerry starts speaking..." but then on one of the channels (I was flipping around, trying to escape Bush and get a little of Teresa or Rassmann), one of the anchors said, "We promised the Bush campaign we wouldn't switch over until the president is done," or something to that effect.

Suddenly the "one more story" thing made perfect sense. Bush was being a dick! He knew the TV broadcasts would stick with his little dog-and-pony show for as long as he kept up the public masturbation. He was obviously dragging it out to keep Kerry off the air. Fortunately, the local Kerry folks sussed the situation and the intro speeches were extended to wait Bush out.
