I got a speeding ticket the other day, and when I asked the cop if I would have gotten a "warning" if I had a Bush sticker as opposed to a Kerry sticker, he was totally taken back ... he stammered "why do you ask" ... I said, "call it a hunch" ... he never answered my question.

Anyhow enough about me, but ahhh, I would advise Kerry campaign advisors, to avoid prostitutes and drugs while were in the middle of a friggin campaign for gawd sakes. :(

A member of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites)'s national legal team received a citation on accusations he solicited a prostitute, according to broadcast reports.


Former Michigan Democratic Party chairman Melvin "Butch" Hollowell, 44, who left his party post earlier this month, was pulled over Tuesday night by Wayne County sheriff's deputies after picking up a woman on a street not far from his home, Detroit station WDIV-TV reported.


Another broadcast report said Hollowell, who is married and has two children, was given a ticket following the stop.


An attorney for Hollowell told WDIV the incident was a misunderstanding and that Hollowell has denied any wrongdoing. Messages left by The Associated Press seeking comment from the attorney and Hollowell were not immediately returned Thursday evening.

1. On the speeding ticket

I started a thread many weeks ago saying that a local deli owner told me to take off my bumperstickers because he had overheard that the local police would target us. ( I live in a very liberal area) I didn't take them off and have notified the local political party and politicians. :sigh:

I think anyone associated with the Kerry campaign should be careful. They are targetted.
