Poll question: Are the news stations showing the Swift Boat ad breaking the law?

Airing of the commercial for free consitutes a contribution to the Bush campaign. They are not airing anti-Bush commercials like they are anti-Kerry commercials. Therefore, the air-time is a very pricey gift to the Bush campaign. There are limits on financial contributions. I think this presents a reasonable argument - especially since CBS News again showed the ad today without any rebuttal.

1. Yes, I'm the one voice of dissent (as of now, anyway)
I believe that showing the ad is legal under campaign finance laws if it's shown as a news item.

2. Don't think it crosses the threshold because it doesn't
even mention President Stupid much less ask to vote for him.
But don't the 527's have to stop all ads 30 days before the election??
