LET'S NOT PANIC!
It's still only August. Let's not get all nervous about Kerry vs. Swift Boat Scum. We still have demonstrations at the rethuglican convention. AND....we have debates coming up. AND...Kerry will start spending ad money in September.
Keep the Faith.
Remember, Kerry's a good closer.

12. He's human and he's not perfect
considering the crap he's taken i think he's held up well and the poll numbers reflect that. Asswad has spent like $200million and he's still behind in the polls.

2. After hearing neighbors dissing bush* yesterday, I am not in a panic.
Locals here are very Republican and generally very tight lipped. Everywhere I went yesterday, I heard knots of people grumbling about junta policies.

They started getting a clue from SOTU in 02. They were stunned and depressed. Led to expect some brilliant revelations and leadership, they got bush* BS and they knew it. Things got real quiet around here.

After the Iraq invasion, when many got pleas from kin to send baby wipes, coffee, food and water, flags started coming off pickup trucks.

The Swift Boat Liar ads have pushed these folks way beyond their limits.
They are now openly critical about all kinds of junta policies.

The Swift Boat Liars treated these people like they are idiots and they are not. The Swift Boat Liars made slanderous claims against a decorated vet and these people are furious. Dem or not, Kerry served and served with distinction. Around here, that requires that he be given respect for his service, politics aside. To attack a man who served like that is only hurting the idiots doing the attacking and the idiots in the White House who refuse to knock them down for it.

The only thing I worry about now is that the votes be counted accurately across this country. If the votes get counted fairly:
Kerry in a Landslide!

13. southern baptist private school, our first night back with a meeting
we started in one of the biggest churches in town. looking at the cars in parking lot, i saw one sticker of rapture..........not a single bush and cheney. in the parking lot of the private school, i made effort to look at all bumpers, one old and torn bush/cheney

i am going to carry kerry stickers this year. and i am going to be the first to drive that sticker into the parking lot.

last nite talking to the history/science teacher, talking about my 9 year old boy, all his obtuseness and lack of focus and sittin him in the front row...........i told her we talk politics in our house and my boys know a lot, and we dont view the world the same as the school. son may talk, and he may not feel comfortable talking. i hope he is brave, but.............if he does, i expec t it encourged.

what we know, what i know.......these people are opposite of what they present to the world. they say christian, they are not, they say loving they are not, they say compassionate, they are not.......ect

it is getting easier and easier for the right to see

i am hopeful

14. Another one that hasn't been updated
Solid bush*: 198
Solid Kerry: 213

- Despite the small shift in electoral votes, this was one of the most volatile maps we have done in the past two elections
- As has occurred in the past several maps we have done, things are not trending well for the president.
- Look for President Elect's full 2004 election coverage (including our computer analysis of the election) to begin in August!

http://www.presidentelect.org/e2004beta.html

IMHO bush* is pulling a “Gore”. Now, I don’t want to get into a discussion about why Gore lost, for the 10,000th time, but I’ve always felt that one of the reasons Gore lost 2000 was that he ran as the challenger and not the incumbent. Bush* won because he rode on the coat-tails of Clinton. Oh, the irony.

Now bush* appears to the be challenger and not the incumbent. All his attack ads, IMO, serve to produce a negative image of bush* and not Kerry. Apparently no one in the GOP has read the study (University of Washington? Can’t remember….) published after the Clinton Impeachment (when his approval numbers went UP!!) on the reverse effect that negative politics has.

Something else that bush* doesn’t have in 2004 that he did have in 2000. The “liberal” media. IMO bush* did a better job of using the media in 2000. Gore, for the most part, avoided the media back then. Now it’s bush* that is avoiding the media.

Just my half-baked opinion. Nothing to see here. Move along……..

5. not anywhere near panic. how silly
people ask are people this stupid to still be supporting bush. well i guess some people. and i really just know,........this isnt who we are as a people. i am around too many "people"

so my guess is this is happening exactly as it should, to see more and more who this republican party is. and isnt this perfect for showing their face. watch the malkin gal. firsty, she is a snot like never have i seen. offensive. between her face and coulters, the right demonizing of hienz and hillary are absurd.

she is so ugly in talk, what she does with her face, the hate.

let them go out and tlak

and the tweety knocking down self inflicted wounds. well dumbshit media that is what you should have done immediately in the knocking down of all this shit before you even aired. what happened to getting story first before reporting.

absurd to be talking panic. i am in such peace and non battle in standing for kerry

6. A.Kerry is till winning B.Most people don't know about the un-Swift
and when they do BAM! it is going to blow up in W's face. Everyone knows that W builds plausible deniability into his speeches and other do the dirty work heavy lifting for him.

When people DO find out about this(they just fired the first "self inflicted wounds" shot into the media) people will really turn on W&Co.

11. Very true
And I hope the Kerry campaign is learning each day what sort of desperate, low-down, unprincipled, despicable assclowns they are locked up with in mortal battle.

Just because these rat bastards have been caught doesn't mean they're just going to hand back what they've stolen from us over the last four years. Thieves don't usually return their swag willingly; it'll have to be wrenched free from their greedy, grasping little claws.
