MSNBC: Bush exposed RE: connection to Swift Boat ad! Must read!
Report exposes
Bush connections
to Swift Boat vets

Some who now rip Kerry
previously praised him

A newspaper investigation into the veterans' group behind the controversial TV ads about Sen. John Kerry's Vietnman war record has found a "web of connections" to the president and his family and many inconsistencies in the veterans' public statements on the matter

YES!!! Screw you Bush! :toast:

Finally, the mainstream media has caught on!

1. "the mainstream media has caught on" -- do you really think so?
I mean, can I honestly put my hope in this report? I am so tired of getting screwed by things I think it's safe to hope for.

Like every time a poll shows Kerry +5, the next one shows him +3 where the error margin is 3. It's getting a little hard to hope, y'know?

2. Surprised?
It's like the protestors in Miami during the 2000 election.

3. Article is just a summary of the NYT article
Not really sure it is breaking news or a "must read." The NYT article itself was both.

11. It's not the summary that's important, it's that other media sources
Are picking the story that is important!

Im glad as hell the NY Times ran their story, but more importantly is that other main stream news sources like MSNBC pick it up.

Not everyone knew the NY times story existed, and not everyone realizes yet that this is about to blow up in GW Bush's face.

6. I'm glad, but unfortunately the headline does not fit the story..
the story ends up inconclusive on direct ties to Bush, and the quotes from Bush deny any tie, so even though you and I know that's the deal, that story doesn't yet put the stake in the heart of this vampire. We need more.

16. We might have known about it weeks ago
But now the story has legs and is part of the national conversation.

Let's enjoy the small victories when we can.
