From 1976 to 1980, he hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live 10 times (it became a tradition that he hosted the last show of the year, as he was considered one of the easiest hosts to work with). Henry also hosted the only live remote attempted by SNL, broadcast live from Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
I am of that era.. and Buck was one of my favorites also.. I wonder if he is still with us or in that great comedy club in the sky.. maybe time for me to go to wikipedia.

It's so fantastic to see all these people again- they were so young (but then again, so were we!). They seemed old to me then since I was only 17 at the time. But this show made a HUGE impact in my life and in the lives of my friends.
