ABC News on TV just let Scott McClellan's lie go unchallenged....

ABC News on TV just let Scott McClellan's lie go unchallenged....
McClellan said that Kerry was asking Bush to condemn the Swift Boat Cretins
ad but had not condemned similar ads himself. So what about the Moveon ad
challenging Bush's military service?

Please email them and ask that they publically correct this ASAP. Thanks!!

6. Kerry Has Condemned ALL 527 ads that have been too extreme
such as the hitler/bush ad WHICH, btw, was never even released and if the GOP hadn't fucking promoted it on THEIR website, most people wouldn't even know about since it was part of a contest.

but i guess in bushworld, that and the current bush/republican funded smear campaign of a true american hero somehow cancel each other out :shrug:

Senator Kerry has strongly opposed EXTREME 527 ads, eg., the MoveOn.org ad that condemned George Bish's military service.

It makes sense, too, that he would be particularly strong in his opposition to such and ad as I'm sure any Veteran would be offended by the denigration of anyone's military service.

When you played the clip of Scott McClellan claiming that John Kerry did not repudiate "527" ads, it was MANDATORY that you correct that statement by mentioning that Kerry DID repudiate the Moveon.org ad which (correctly) referred to Bush being AWOL.

By not correcting McClellan's statement, ABC News is helping the Bush campaign propagate falsehoods.

(Incidentally, it's about time ABC News revisit the AWOL issue. You have a lot of making up to do for Peter Jennings gaffe regarding Michael Moore and Wesley Clark)
