Bush will go into his convention with any positive message clouded
by the swiftlies. Once again we will be able to define the republican party as an extreme party who care more about the 'politics of personal destruction (Remember their PPD mantra against Gore?) than they do about actually addressing the needs and concerns of Americans.

Bushco wanted a moderate convention with 'softies' like Guliani to play to those who fear their party's extreme agendas. Too bad. Bush's surrogates have stepped all over that effort

2. Kerry's patience had a purpose, no? The R convention doesn't
start for a while - Kerry/Edwards will no doubt land more gut punches to Bush/Cheney by then.

3. So, do ya think Dimson will call the swifties up on stage with him?
Like JK did with his band of brothers?

4. Indeed, Mr. Tree
This matter will, or at any rate certainly ought to, form the ground for a great deal of the coverage of that farce in New York. How are Republicans reacting to the charges of illegal co-ordination with this clique of liars? Will the administration denounce them? What will Sen. McCain's comments on the matter be, and Sen. Warner's?

Further, Sen. Kerry has announced he intends to campaign during the enemy's convention. The novelty of this will draw coverage, and the press will want to stir a fight....

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

6. Yep. Bush crawls with the worms.
I thought about this last night too. They have previewed their convention "nicely".
