Why Kerry should keep Swiftboat Dirtbags front and center
1. McCain's words can be used against *

2. Bush already on defensive issuing daily denials of association

3. Bush campaign seen as the ones "going negative" since widespread presumption is that the ads are scummy

4. Kerry on record as denouncing similar ads against *

5. Kerry gets more opportunities to talk about his service versus AWOL's desertion

6. Kerry gets more opportunities to talk about his service versus AWOL's desertion

7. Kerry gets more opportunities to talk about his service versus AWOL's desertion

2. Kerry keeps getting hurt by them because the sheeple never
look that deep. They just see it assume it's true, and by using his
cong testimony it works even better. If Kerry wants to been in this
race at all he better take the shrub on directly about his AWOL shit
and Cheaney's draft dogging. If he doesn't he's done.

3. he needs to get them out
of the spotlight--because undecided voters need to hear about his plans for the future. Not ancient history.

The dirt is up to the nose and it smells and unless he forgets the high road and attacks and keeps attacking the defense mode won't work. They took out McCain, They took out Max and they will surely take out Kerry. ENOUGH John Throw them the crap !

5. Well assuming he can TIE THEM DIRECTLY TO (and around the neck of)
Bush, as he appears to be doing as we write, he can then point out that since Bush's policies (Iraq War etc). are so disastrous he has nothing else but to attack with smears like this.

7. You have got to be kidding me . . .
These Swiftboat guys can't be kept "front and center" under any circumstances.

This latest ad is different than the first one, and that's what makes it so effective in reaching undecided voters. It's much harder to pass this one off as a bunch of wild accusations like the first one was.

For cryin' out loud -- most of the dialogue in the ad is from Kerry himself!

8. What's the point
They're just saying their mad at Kerry. Everything Kerry said was true. Ok so they don't like him for saying that. No need to make a national fucking ad about it.

9. Everything Kerry said was true?
Even Kerry now says that this was not the case.

And even if it was all true, he also made the point back then that HE HIMSELF had done all those things.

So now there are only two alternatives: 1) Kerry was full of shit back in 1971, and the former POWs in this latest ad are telling the truth; or 2) the Democrat Party is running an admitted war criminal for President in 2004.

It's isn't too hard to see why this kind of shit won't go over well with swing voters, huh?
