I'd like Kerry to say this:
"Where were you, George?"

"Even your Republican funded character assassins agree about my whereabouts during the Vietnam war...where were you, George?"

"Even your Republican funded dirty tricksters agree that I reported for duty everyday, where were you, George?"

"And, George, where were you on health care reform, prescription drugs and jobs during these last four years, where were you, George?"

"Where were you, George? Where were you, George? Where were you..."

Keep repeating the question over and over. It's bound to penetrate the thick skulls of the American people eventually (hopefully, before 11/2!).

2. Nice but it doesn't matter
It would hurt politically. Kerry's better off talking about the economy, health care, and the war in Iraq. We know Bush is a liar and was AWOL, but the average voter isn't going to care. They are going to look at Bush's four years in office and decide from there what they want. The question everone will ask is "are you better off know than you were four years ago?" We should be working to get the word out about the deficit, the economy, and healthcare and how John kerry can solve these problems.

3. We Have a winner!
I like it, perfect for those short clips we get from the news, and it ties in so many of the chimps foibles succinctly. A whole campaign can be centered on it. Get it to the DNC now.

4. I'd like to see some Democrats on talking head shows comparing awards

I have verified the Air Force Small Arms Expert Marksmanship ribbon only via the photograph of George W. Bush's commission. Other Air Force awards can only be verified if Bush releases his DD214. The two Texas Air National Guard Medals were verified via Bush's ANG22.

5. great line. . ."Where were you, George?"
an encouraging comment on this exceedingly tiresome dispute over 30 year old grievances was on another thread. . .

"“Kerry gets a bye on this anyway—he was there and Bush wasn’t,” says John Zogby, an independent pollster who is not aligned with either campaign."

6. Excellent idea
That is EXACTLY what the Kerry campaign needs. Quick, sound byte friendly and very resonant for the mouth breathers who vote on that basis.
This, IMO, is the biggest reason for most of the Bush supporters in the country. When they turn off their TVs, the only things that stay with them are those talking points the Repubs are so good at propogating.

If it touches some visceral nerve, they assume its worthy of getting behind.
Your idea would certainly touch that nerve if they heard it enough.

Where were YOU George?

7. Kerry to Bush 4/27/2004: Prove It...
Key Unanswered Questions: Bush’s Record In The National Guard
For Immediate Release

“If George Bush wants to ask me questions about that through his surrogates, he owes America an explanation about whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard. Prove it. That's what we ought to have. I'm not going to stand around and let them play games.” -- John Kerry, NBC News, 4/26/04

Bush Has Said He Used No Special Treatment To Get Into The Guard. How Does He Explain The Fact That He Jumped Ahead Of 150 Applicants Despite Low Pilot Aptitude Scores?

Col. Albert Lloyd Said A Report From Alabama To Ellington Should Have Been Filed. Where Is That Report?

Why Did Bush Miss His Medical Exam In 1972?

Where Are The Complete Results Of The Required Investigation Into Bush’s Absence From The Exam?

Why Did Bush Specifically Request To NOT Be Sent Overseas For Duty?

Why Does The White House Say Bush Was On Base When Bush’s Superiors Had Filed A Report Saying He Was Gone For A Whole Year?

Why Is The Pentagon Under Orders To Not Discuss Bush’s Record With Reporters?

Where Are Bush’s Flight Logs?

Why Hasn’t Bush Himself Demonstrated That He Showed Up For Service in Alabama?

8. I would like Kerry to say this:
"When you question my medals, you question every troop who is now serving." How do you think that those troops feel, thinking that their service could be questioned in 30 years.?"

SUPPORT THE TROOPS...yeah, right
