Kerry on the verge of hammering Bush's over his AWOL
The Kerry campaign filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission yesterday, hoping to force the group to pull its ad attacking the candidate's service in Vietnam. But election experts -- and even some Kerry aides -- concede it is highly unlikely the commission will intervene. Several aides are pushing Kerry to directly challenge Bush's stateside service in the National Guard and force the president to prove he fulfilled his service requirements in 1972.

1. I don't care about the likelyhood of how they will rule
I LOVE the way he is fighting back.

I just hope that bulshit line by the Whitehouse that "he is losing it" doesn't fool anyone. Do you think that line will stick?

You use there words against them. They say because of how Kerry used his service record at the DNC that he opened the door for this attack. Now Kerry can do the same, because they opened the door for Kerry. If they want to attack Kerry's sanity then Kerry can attack Bush's 12 IQ. This also opens the door for Kerry to blame Bush for the 1000 soldiers whi died in Iraq over Bush's lie's.

someone from the audience asked him about Kenny Boy. He walked out saying to an aide "get those M****** F******s out of here, or I will find someone who will."

31. When did that happen?
That's just a bit worst than "shove it'
and the media played with "shove it" for 2 weeks.

21. The only way for "losing his cool" to stick would be
if Karl Rove could steal every American's eyeballs. The true believers can live in their fantasy world that Bush is a brave, strong man, but anyone with eyes in their head or a brain cell in their brain, can look with thier own eyes and see that Bush is a phony brat who can't talk and Kerry is steadfast, has a brave history and is intelligent and qualified.

The media sandbagged Clinton for eight years, they did it to Gore, they are doing to Kerry, anyone who can't see through the media spin by now is on Republican kool-aid.

2. I want to see that
I want to see the facts about Bush's service (or rather lack thereof) pointed out to the American people. How he leapfrogged over hundreds of others despite his dismal score. How he didn't have to take ROTC or whatever that everyone else did. How he checked the box saying he didn't want to serve in Viet Nam. How he refused to take the medical exam, and what that would have meant for anyone else. How NO ONE in the AL Guard remembers seeing him.

Let's use the Harry Truman recipe-"We don't give 'em hell, we just tell the truth on them and it feels like hell."

We're going to fry these motherfuckers. Did they honestly think that they could take such a big swing at Kerry and not get nailed in return?

People in glass houses....ooo...another good line for Kerry.

23. One simple question about * and his service?
Why or why isn't there just ONE fucking picture of * with someone who served w/ him? This should be said over and over.

8. He should be pissed for these lies
A worthless drunk, coked up, AWOL chickenhawk and his cronies are questioning his integrity...

If people fall for this shit, I would have lost even more respect for the people of this nation. The fact that so many voted for him the first time around is disturbing enough, but if it happens again I will have to seriously question what is wrong with people.

I don't get this. If people don't like Kerry's views on the issues that's one thing, but this latest thing is just disgusting. Bush didn't serve. Kerry volunteered. Kerry saved a man's life. That man wouldn't make shit up for no reason. He hadn't even seen Kerry for many years. He volunteered for Kerry's campaign.

Kerry then had the courage to question his governments' actions.

No comparison. End of story. AWOL Bush. Hero Kerry.

Kerry' s Rack

Of Fruit Salad

Dubya*

If Georgie would release his DD214 and he completed his service in the Texas Air National Guard, there are two possible awards he may have received from the TANG that are TANG specific. If so, he would have something that looks like this:

13. A Minor Point of Contention - One That I Hesitate to Bring Up
since it's in *'s favor. The 'National Defense' ribbon - third row from the top in the middle - wouldn't * be entitled to that one as well? Granted, it doesn't rate much in the hierarchy of awards; everyone who went through basic training got it just for showing up.

15. Actually, NO, Dumbass* did NOT qualify for the NDSM
The requirement is serving on ACTIVE DUTY during these time periods:

27 June 1950 and 27 July 1954

01 Jan. 1961 and 14 Aug. 1974

02 Aug. 1990 and 30 Nov. 1995

11 Sept.2001 to current

Bush was considered on reserve duty, even during training, for the purposes of this award.

I knew that active duty was a requirement for the National Defense ribbon; I wrongfully ASSumed that * had served a modicum of active duty as a NG requirement. I admit ignorance of Guard policy, thinking it's like the Army Reserve, where some active duty service is required.

18. If some period of *'s service was actually Active Duty, he would qualify
Unfortunately, * has not released his DD214, so there is absolutely no way to determine if he was awarded anything other than what is listed.

I did find a copy of *'s ANG22 and verified he was, indeed, awarded the two TANG medals for showing up.

You probably don't want to piss me off.....

But, I would have thought a big ol' he-man hero like the chimp would have managed to get an expert rating with at least one weapon on yearly qualifying! Assclown.

11. I want no holes bared
I want to know about bush's cocaine, drunk driving charges, plus every piece of crap brought up in "Fortunate Son"

If they want the issue to be Viet Nam, then let it be Viet Nam all the way. Let's hear how bush is repeating history by involving us in a worse than Viet Nam conflict in Iraq, and how he hides the costs both human and monetary .

I want to know why the bush administration IGNORED the warnings from the Hart/Rudman commision when they took office

Why terrorism wasn't there biggest concern when they took office

I want the Project for a New American Century to be spread across the whole country, and expose those who signed it

I want to know about how Cheney stayed out of Viet Nam

I want to know why the majority of Veterns in Congress are Democrats!

I want to know why it is the republicans who are the ones who trash our veterns, i.e., Max Cleland, McCain, Kerry, etc.

17. Oh, yeah! The coke story alone should be front and center.
Bush's own weasly response to the drugs question would look great in a commercial. There must be some evidence out there, or he would have lied his head off by now with a strong denial. Instead, he parsed the answer to be technically accurate.

And PNAC -- why the hell doesn't every American know about this by now?

12. They claim Kerry has made his service in Vietnam
the centerpiece of his campaign so criticism of it is acceptable. Let's look at what the Bush campaign has made it's platforms.

Family Values - Does that mean we can attack his children and bring up opinions of those who went to school with them and state them as facts. Why would such a conservative Christians household spawn drunken irresponsible girls? Can we put forth commercials looking into their sex lives to see if the committed adultery? Interview old boyfriends and retell their stories of sexual lust and depravity?

Abortion - There is a book that documents and proves that George W. Bush impregnated his girlfriend in 1971 and then forced her to have an abortion. Sources are cited and backed up. Let's have the author of this book on every talk show, radio show and newspaper to proclaim his facts. Let's ask George W. Bush why he flip flopped on abortion. Interview his girlfriend and the doctor who performed it.

War President - AWOL allegations. We call on George W. Bush to release all the records regarding his non-service in the national guard. He opened this up by proclaiming himself a war president. Let's find out what kind of person he was during the last war he could have fought in but chose not to.

and the list goes on and on...

Experts say that women seldom use a gun to take their lives.
More often than not, they either overdose on prescription medicine or choose a less painful method other than a handgun.

Very suspicious.

19. Kerry asked Bush on 4/27/2004 these questions...
Key Unanswered Questions: Bush’s Record In The National Guard
For Immediate Release

“If George Bush wants to ask me questions about that through his surrogates, he owes America an explanation about whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard. Prove it. That's what we ought to have. I'm not going to stand around and let them play games.” -- John Kerry, NBC News, 4/26/04

Bush Has Said He Used No Special Treatment To Get Into The Guard. How Does He Explain The Fact That He Jumped Ahead Of 150 Applicants Despite Low Pilot Aptitude Scores?

Col. Albert Lloyd Said A Report From Alabama To Ellington Should Have Been Filed. Where Is That Report?

Why Did Bush Miss His Medical Exam In 1972?

Where Are The Complete Results Of The Required Investigation Into Bush’s Absence From The Exam?

Why Did Bush Specifically Request To NOT Be Sent Overseas For Duty?

Why Does The White House Say Bush Was On Base When Bush’s Superiors Had Filed A Report Saying He Was Gone For A Whole Year?

Why Is The Pentagon Under Orders To Not Discuss Bush’s Record With Reporters?

Where Are Bush’s Flight Logs?

Why Hasn’t Bush Himself Demonstrated That He Showed Up For Service in Alabama?

26. How about a complete DD214?
That's what I want to see, I want the SPN codes and all the notations. I want to know why he didn't get out as a captain when virtually everyone else did just for breathing and staying out of jail

BTW, you never hear anything from his TANG comrades either, what's with that? No one anywhere steps up and says: hell of a pilot! Hell of a guy! Not in Alabama, but not in Texas either....
