Instead of stoploss he got early out. I guess it was for superior performance. What is the difference between this ARG22 form and a DD214. This looks very much like my DD214.

I filed my DD214 when I got out plus I have two copies here at home. My hubby has three, but the third one he got after he was recalled for Desert Storm after his discharge.

We had to send off for my stepdad's and he was in during the Vietnam War. I've known other people who had to send off for theirs as well. I've never heard of anyone unable to get theirs.


The dog must've ate his DD214, went to St. Louis or wherever to and ate those copies, too. Geez, if I could have a dog like that, I could get that nasty speeding ticket off of my driving record.

Not to be contrary, but isn't the NG22 seen above (a.k.a. ANG22) form the National Guard version of the DD-214?

Of course, the case that Bush skipped out, at least for part of duty, is demonstrated quite well without either form, but I am just curious if someone knows for real. I haven't yet found an authoritative answer.
