The Difference between Parties should be examined more closely
The Republican Party has been usurped by a bunch of NeoCons with an adverse agenda. They have linked up with the Fundamentalists of the Christian Far Right and the Military Industrialists. Together they want to rule. In so many words, They are the Negative Force on Earth.

Because they have a weak Picture to offer, they LIE CHEAT STEAL as evidenced in recent Election Campaigns...including the present one. Its anything to win. Say all, do all necessary for victory, fuck the consequences of looking bad. Who cares about appearance, its the Power they want. They want all the Worlds TV Remotes tuned in to their Stations. This is now in the incipient stage...FOX< MSNBC< CNN

are among the start. The evidence is the Negativity they offer..as news and commentary.

************************<<<<<o>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>******************

The Democratic Party still adheres to the basic Philosophy of the COMMON GOOD. Kerry, for now, represents this basic aspect of Humanity. There will be others who follow the long line of true Patriots. The answers we look for lies in the Direction of Benevolence, Altruism, Reason, and whats Best for the Common Good.

As John Kenneth Galbraith said, THE GOOD SOCIETY, The Future lies in the Direction of THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY and whats best for the Common Good.

*************************<<<<<<<O>>>>>>>>>>>>>*****************

The Pubs wish to distract with minutiae and emotional issues..hardly anything pertaining to a better Present/Future for all of us.

Come, we go thimk>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>0

1. Very well said...
you sound just like another awesome thinker I admire..

<snip>
Democrats and Republicans have very different and deeply felt ideas about what choices we should make. They're rooted in fundamentally different views of how we should meet our common challenges at home, and how we should play our role in the world.

We Democrats want to build a world and an America of shared responsibilities and shared benefits. We want a world with more global cooperation where we act alone only when we absolutely have to.
We think the role of government should be to give people the tools to create the conditions to make the most of their own lives. And we think everybody should have that chance.

On the other hand, the Republicans in Washington believe that American should be run by the right people -- their people -- in a world in which America acts unilaterally when we can and cooperates when we have to. They believe the role of government is to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of those who embrace their economic, political and social views, leaving ordinary citizens to fend for themselves on important matters like health care and retirement security.

Now, since most Americans aren't that far to the right, our friends have to portray us Democrats as simply unacceptable, lacking in strength and values. In other words, they need a divided America. But we don't.
<end>

Keep up the good fight... :hi:

2. PoiBoy, you stay from da Islands?? Wit one name like dat, it is fair to
suspect you stay from Maui or Waimanalo or lil dat.

LOL

I appreciate the link and I do believe we concur on basic grounds.

Dems have it togeter,, the Pubs want us apart...the struggle continues. They have the power but we have the votes. All we have to do is muster enough to counter the Mega Rich/Powerful. In the meantime, they use deception, etc to denigrate us Dems no end.

Its all they have. The Business Plan they have shows crumbs toward our end of the spectrum.

Come, we go eat, drink, laugh......while we can.....
