If Kerry is not the best person for the Presidency, who is?

I was cooking a little dinner earlier and I heard some of the news and they were talking about the swiftboat thing while one of these people said they had no connection to the Bush campaign. He said that he votes Democrat most of the time and that he votes for the best man and that is not John Kerry. How can this guy think that Bush is a better man than Kerry? Even if what they said is true. You don't have to like the guy you vote for, you don't have to agree with something major he did, but you do have to realize what is at stake. This guy would throw away my future, and our collective future with this bullshit? How can he honestly do that? How can these people honestly do that? They lived through experiences in Vietnam, they obviously suffered some psychological wounds. Why can't they think anything about how this generation is going through the same thing? That they would put them through more of this by allowing Bush to get another term? How dare they?

1. At this point in the game, anyone thats syays they vote "Democrat"

But won't vote for kerry is NOT A DEMOCRAT! There is a clear difference between the two. With Kerry there is a clear and present ray of hope. With Bush there is a clear & present danger.

2. The thing I hate worse than a right wing loon Republican....

...is a Democrat who won't stand behind his/her party when the party when it is crucial to do so because the person of the other party is a danger to the country and the world.

3. I flat out don't believe people that say things like that.

Kerry is FAR from my top choice and I felt better giving my vote to Gore but NO WAY IN HELL would I ever consider voting for Bush.
