I Wonder What Chris And Keith Will Have For Us Tommorow Night?
If the word gets out MSNBC can pass CNN in the nightly ratings...

They are getting close....

Wouldn't that be something....

I have a feeling neither one of them plan on letting up anytime soon. Thank gawd for Keith Olberman. I also can't wait to see what Jon Stewart has planned.

3. There's A Market For A Center Left Alternative To CNN...
They will never catch Fox but Tweety is at a .8 one point lower than the "great" Larry King...

29. CNN cut off their foot IMHO
Fox took the conservative market. The liberal market was CNN's to take, but apparently they didn't want it. Now MSNBC is moving more to the left (except for Scarborough) and the liberal audience is noticing it.

35. Center left?
I agree there's a market and if they're smart about strategy to capture ratings they'd quit competing for conservative viewers. But I disagree that they can be left of center given the heavy duty bungee-cord pull to the right that this administration has orchestrated.

Getting some of my democrat friends to watch it also. We need to get the word out to as many people as possible that there is an alternative to Faux News.

more. He is also self-deprecating which is so much nicer than the "I'm sooo cool" crap that people like O'Reilly spout.

Height of Monica Fever. He was great in showing facial disgust over the whole ridiculous fiasco.

When he came back he poked fun at himself with an I'm back moment.

19. I remember that
He had a show called "The Big Show" and it would start with "Today is day 19_ of the Clinton/Lewinsky investigation." He did this day after day until he just couldn't take it any more.

He did the most amazing commentary "I had sex with a woman and didn't even know it". It was done as a letter to Ken Starr. Really made fun of Ken Starr. I wish I had saved it. It was classic Olbermann.

20. Mathews got blacklisted by the RNC, can go to convention
he will either turn 180% and suck up or (more likely now that he has an ally in Olberman) give the republicans shit about keeping him out.

Monday should be fun.

24. Reply to my own question
from US News & World Report website "Washington Whispers":
"You might notice something missing from Hardball With Chris Matthews soon: Republicans. " Hardball may seem more like badminton during the Republican National Convention," threatens a GOP insider. What's up? The GOP thinks Matthews has gone over to Sen. John Kerry 's side and is too critical of the Bush campaign's editing of a Hardball interview with Kerry posted on the party's negative site, www.kerryoniraq.com. As payback, they've stopped urging Republicans to appear on the show. Hardball executive producer Tammy Haddad dismisses charges Matthews is biased: "We beat everybody up." So far, nobody from the White House has told her of the show's being blackballed."

But nothing about losing credentials. This is probably just a brushback pitch to get Tweety back on message. And if I know Tweety, he will.

27. She Won't Show Anywhere...She's Got Cover
Her "blob blog" she mentions that the reason she went on Hardball was to promote her fascist book and had "special permission" from Faux to do that interview and the one the next morning on C-SPAN (No mention of Rushy Contin)...and now will claim it's a breach of her Faux contract (no hemlock for one week!) if she opens her stupid yap on the tube again during this campaign season.

Put a fork in her, she's done...bring in the next bimbo.
