Last night I got a tip from grasswire that the folks over at Free Republic were a little upset with me about those picture I took of Alachua Co Republican Headquarters.

It's ashame I have to waste some of my 15 minutes of fame being trashed by these folks, but must of their posts are really pretty funny. I've posted some of the better ones here, so folks don't have to give their site any more hits than necessary.

I love the debate about whether or not the flyer is on the inside or the outside of the window. LOL.

looks like the big sign is on the inside of a window, and the rally one (c'mon, does the world really think Repub. spell political with a "k"??) looks like it was taped on the outside.Notice the upturned corner.

It looks to me as if the flyer is taped to the OUTSIDE of the window. The DU people could have taped that flyer there and taken the picture. These people are despicable! But then they are DemonRATS.

inside the offices of the Alachua County Republican Headquarters/ Bush-Cheney Campaign Headquarters.

The news about the rally broke here on DU around 6:30 PM, after the headquarters was closed for the day. I went over at about 8:30 PM and took the pictures.

I'd love to hear them explain away that orange paper that clearly covers the top of the flier. What, is that taped to the outside as well? Not to mention that you would have had to shrink down the text and cut the flier accordingly and then get your perspective exactly right in order to make the flier appear to be the correct scale. If you aren't a special effects artist, you missed your calling.

Escher drew up the flyer so it would appear to be at the same angle as the easel, and yet still taped to the outside of the window. You know, like that one of the hand using a pencil to draw another hand that's using a pencil to draw the other hand?
