3. I Hope The Protests Are Peaceful .....
I don't think anybody from this board would be anything but peaceful.....

It would be awesome if folks conducted themselves the way the participants at Dr. King's March On Washington did....

2. I think so too
Thats why our protestors must be ready and be disciplined. Don't listen to anyone who suggests violence, or says that "something just happened five blocks from here, we must seek revenge". Violence is exactly what the Repukes are hoping for, so that they can paint the Dems as "dangerous".

17. Protesters should carry cell phones and immediately report ANY
acts of violence and/or destruction!!!!!

If fifty protesters are on cell phones reporting the provacateur breaking a window, they can't blame the protesters!

7. You can bet on it!
My understanding is that they have been used at the FTTA/World Bank protests to great effect. 20,000 cops all dressed up with nothing to do? Why would they leave something like that to chance.

We need to pull a "grapes of wrath" and sink the Provacateurs. Bury them in a dogpile or something.

It would be wise to have a plan in place for just such a contingency

16. I've seen deadheads at Dead shows hold down violent security guards
and summon real police men to detain them. These guards are the GOP type that like to harm people because it's fun. The police were amazed that the heads were actually doing this is a civil manner.

9. Please, please, Kerry campaign...
Have Kerry give a speech ahead of time saying that he condones no violence during the protests, and asks everyone to maintain peace as they exercise their civil rights. Please!

I don't see any downside to him doing this. Am I wrong?

The Pukes are going to try to blame it on us....

Kerry should make a speech urging his supporters to make their voices heard at the ballot box...

Bushco is dying to pull a Reich-stag Fire....

13. The RNC's Mujahadine will stir up lots of violance and property damage
It is every protesters duty to stop these GOP thugs and then have them arrested at first sight.

by Kid Rock and Ted Nugent will attack the peaceful demonstrators and we can portray them as the jackboots they really are...

20. You can COUNT ON IT
They did the same shit at protests against the Viet Nam war I used to attend.

They were young, looked the part, had means of support, but no job. They were fucking paid agents provacateurs paid to make the demonstrations violent in an attempt to discredit the movement.

COUNT ON IT>

21. Put NOTHING past them.
OF COURSE THEY WILL. And they will pay them handsomely. Hell, "outside agitators" came into the lounge of the conservatory I attended posing as students trying to whip all us budding artists up into violent protest (ca.'69). :silly: Never mind they stood out like a sore thumb... They were escorted OUT.

Be SMART my dear ones. Take your CAMERAS, go in GROUPS, make your plans, read Mailer and above all, AVOID VIOLENCE.
