1. Clinton needs to have a talk with Bob Dole or something.
After reading the comments from Bob Dole about John Kerry, it really disgusted me. I was really respecting Bob Dole after his projects with Bill Clinton and figured just maybe, he was different than the other republicans. Then today I come home and read this crap from him.

7. agree, i would rather Clinton have a private talk with him or something
rather than ignore him entirely. remember, it's one of clinton's greatest gifts to be able to speak with those even those who disagree with him on most things and to still be able to get them to understand his side.

2. I don't think he should
Bill should stay magnanimous.

What he should do, though, is have Max Cleland introduce his speech, and let Cleland tear him a new one.

3. Did I mention yet today how much I hate these people?
sorry i stole a malloy line, BUT ITS TRUE.

i will hit a breaking point sooner or later over all these LIES that are being told against a true american hero, john kerry.

there has to be some way for the people to be heard on this one, the media will NEVER give john kerry a fair viewing over his vietnam record.

DAMMIT why is the hero in this race on the defensive while the AWOL candidate is sitting back riding high in the polls among veterans???

5. He needs to do something. I'm not sure what exactly the best thing to
do would be. I was thinking the exact same thing as your post.

Is it just me or is the SBV sh#@ really getting anyone else incredibly pissed off today? I thought the tide was turning, and hopefully it is, but it has put me into a terrible upset mood. I am so pissed and disgusted.

Do the repubs feel good about themselves or do they even make themselves sick? I can't believe the moderates are feeling proud but maybe I am just expecting way to much.

I probably need to go to sleep. Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day.

6. I agree. Dole had a chance to defend the integrity of a
fellow veteran today, but instead, chose to say the not-so-swift liars had a point. Then he went on to complain that Kerry never spent a day in the hospital. If leaving 3 limbs on the battlefield (Max Cleland) isn't enough for these Repukes, I guess the only way to serve honorably is to come home in a box, except when you go AWOL from the National Guard. Repukes are all alike, even the Doles and McCains. Only a few weeks ago, Dole was on something with Sen. McGovern and they were agreeing with how much they respected each other because they were both veterans. Today, even as he partly agreed with the liars, Dole tried to claim the Sen. Kerry was his friend. With friends like that... - What a jerk. Apparently, his old reputation as being a hatchet man was well deserved.

9. i guess people expected viagra to make him into a nice guy?
Edited on Sun Aug-22-04 11:22 PM by kodi
dole has always been a bitter and nasty man and a rabid partisan. and bill clinton is without a doubt the worst suck-up in the world for trying to get on bob dole's good side. clinton is like that, he always wants to turn an enemy into a friend.

the worst thing about bob dole and one of the many things that creeps me out about the guy is that he speaks of himself in the third person. whenever i heard the guy say "bob dole blah blah blah" i had to wonder about the type of person who speaks about himself as if he is outside his own body.

man, that is creepy.

dole is, was, and will forever be a lying, republican hatchetman.

his wife is no better.

10. Thank you. It is hard for some people to see there is NO good in some
persons.

Good people, such as almost all progressives and Democrats, find it hard to believe that some people - ALL REPUKES - are totally and unequivocally corrupt and, yes, evil.

It will take something like the French and Russian revolutions to rid society of these types once and for all, or at least for a few decades, again, I'm afraid.

When Kerry wins, all these cockroaches will go back into the darkness, where they will plot and scheme out of sight.
