Riddle me this, Media. If SBVFT is NOT part of the Bush campaign, then
why do you grant them the even-handed agnosticism reserved for the two major party campaigns?

Seriously... I understand that you (media) don't want to take sides between the two campaigns, but the SBVFT are not part of the Bush campaign, right? They don't speak for Bush, right? They are just another fringe hate group like a thousand others.

So why the fuck do you put them on TV and say their claims deserve investigation? Because you know they speak for the Bush campaign that's why.

3. I wish to God MoveOn.org's ads had gotten this kind of attention
and debate--with moveon.org organizers all over the TV defending their ads--Meet the Press, This Weak, etc.

I mean if 527s are all equal, why aren't they treated the same by the media. Why weren't there pro-Michael Moore spokesmen on every time an anti-Michael Moore spokesmen was on. Instead, all we got were talking heads talking about how non-documentary the film was. About how left Michael Moore was. And this with NO demonstrable ties to the Dems. Did they debate his arguments--No. They dissed him.

Totally different treatment between SBVets and the lefty ads and movies.

I really hate the media. Thank God I read somewhere on line that the whole point of such slimy negative ads was to demoralize us, because that's certainly how I felt. Avoiding politics altogether because it was so frikking unfair, dirty, sleazy. But that's what they want--make us withdraw in disgust.

7. The usual trajectory...
Drudge -> Limbaugh -> All RW Talk Radio -> Faux News -> CNN -> MSNBC -> Major Networks -> Full Media Coverage.

Any RW story with a spokesperson can be promoted via this route.

And, yes Virginia, the GOP Slime Railroad is the property of the GOP and controlled by Rove.
