A bounce
According to the Bush campaign, you may remember, any convention without a 15 point gain in the polls is a failure.. I hope you will keep this in mind and mention this the next two weeks.. They set the expectations, now will you ask them to get the results??

1. 15? The Dear Leader should get not one percentage point less than 20!
He's such a charismatic, good, Christian man! Seeing him on the teevee will convince America that the Supreme Court made the right choice four years ago, and will make it again, if given the chance! George W. Bush will heal the sick, raise the dead, and damn if he doesn't make the little girls talk out of their heads!

He's the one. He will bury Kerry once and for all with his electrifying acceptance speech! A 15-point bounce? At least 20, baby! Anything less will be unacceptable, so be ready to be dazzled, America!

2. I too think the Repuke Convention'll be a failure w/out a 15 pt bounce!
If I don't see it, then I will have to pronounce their Convention as a miserable failure, just like Shrub.

What's good for the goose . . .

4. Theyve already prepared for this
Right afterwords they said incumbents should only 2/3 the bounce of a challenger, so they say 2/3 of 0 is also 0.

This allows them pronounce a great victory if there is any bounce at all, and the media will probably buy right into it.

5. But that's just an AVERAGE incumbent; we're talking about
George H. W. Bush here, the most SUCCESFUL president in US history.

Why stop at a 15 point bounce? How 'bout 20?

7. He is a gift orator and connects with regular people and Jesus too.
So I've heard.

So now that I think about it, that means that probably a 20 point bounce would really be more expected, I'd say.
