Obama takes widest lead yet in Gallup Poll
6 hours ago / AP
---------------

I'm sorry.. but I don't know where some people get their info. There's another thread here with just the opposite info on the latest Gallup poll.

July 28, 2008, 11:26 am

Wall Street Journal
Obama Takes Widest Lead Yet in Gallup Poll
Susan Davis reports on the presidential race.

Barack Obama has taken the largest lead yet against rival John McCain in Gallup’s daily tracking poll released Sunday with a 49%-40% edge. The nine percentage point margin comes on the heels of Obama’s nine-day trip abroad. It is the widest lead since Gallup began tracking the horse race in early March.

There's another thread also stating Andrea Mitchell was bashing Obama today; when clearly.. she has never done better in her life in defending him.

WTF is going on?

1. That's gallup daily tracking.
There's another one-time poll Gallup did for someone that has different results. That's where the conflicting Gallup results are coming from.

5. Too confusing... that's why I hate polls...
One day you're up...

The next day you're down...

But in the end.. I think it's the pollsters who are screwed up -->

After getting polled for the first time ever by Rasmussen, I can see why some people question their methodology.

After you tell them that yes, you are voting for Obama..

They run you through the mill with questions like .. "Would you still vote for him if he said no to off-shore drilling and instead chose to raise your gas prices?"

They ask so many hypothetical questions that I swear they must have a good deal of responders confused by the time the poll is over... By the way, the Rasmussen poll is a LONG poll!

Rasmussen throws in so many "what ifs" that it makes you wonder what they hell they end up with by the time they've confused John Q. Voter all to hell. ----

I'm not sure if I've responded to a Gallup poll yet. If I have, they didn't give their agency name when conducting the poll. That's the only plus I'd have to give Rassmussen.. They at least start out the poll by identifying who they are.
