Smearing by association is an extremely easy thing to do. Imagine this: "Kerry posts on a website where people have repeatedly said that religion is a form of mental illness, and that Bush had Paul Wellstone killed."

We need to be calmly pleased that we have an impact, and stay on the sidelines as de facto clearing house for ideas, information and general venting. Bad idea.
