And for this they hate him? look at him as a traitor? The facts show he and others did not lengthen the war, they shortened it...meaning the effort "Saved Lives".

But if we look to the photos and the reports of this current conflict, in a way, Kerry was right. Our Military has a segment that will rape, kill, maim, torture, etc. We are aLL NOT PERFECT and the prison scandles confirms.

One told me that he barely was aware of Kerry's Senate speech, let alone Kerry's role in the anti-war movement; the other said he just didn't care one way or another. And for the most part, Kerry's comments about atrocities or anything else about Vietnam are largely a complete non-issue to most Vietnam vets. (Actually, I'm getting the feeling that most Vietnam vets pretty much are sick and tired of hearing about the war, but that's another story altogether).

So when you hear John O'Neill doing his drama queen act on TV about Kerry's "treason", just know that he is mainly just speaking for himself and a few others.
