ABC got the Bush pseudo-denunciation right.
BUSH SPEAKS ON SWIFT BOAT VETERANS FOR TRUTH ADS, in Crawford, Texas.
President says that all 527 ads should come down but did not specifically address the Swift Boat ads. Bush did not call into question Kerry's military record saying, "I think Sen. Kerry served admirably and ought to be proud of his record. But the question is: who best to lead the country in the war on terror."

Also, earlier today in ABC's "The Note":
"The unwillingness of the Bush capaign (sic) and the White House to directly answer questions focused on the CONTENT of the Swift Boat Veterans attack on Kerry's war record (rather than their view of 527s) should ashame and embarrass the whole nation -- despite reporters best efforts."

3. Bush didn't mind them... until MoveOn & ACT started kicking his ass.
Now he wants to change the rules in the middle of the game. What else is new?

Spoiled brat. Don't you get the sense that * was the neighborhood kid who would overturn the gameboard if he was losing at Monopoly or chess?

2. "who best to lead the country in the war on terror."
A guy (Kerry) who exposed the terrorist criminal banking system in the 90's or the guy (Bush) who was gtting a $25MM loan from them for propping up his failing oil company?
