Kerry needs to get back on message. I still contend that both candidates have secured their bases. If bush wants to spend his money playing to his base, that is fine. Kerry needs to focus on convincing independents and undecideds that he has a plan different from 4 more years of Bush. Rove is going to run more negativity and Kerry cannon the next 2 months fighting all of them. I don't think he has the money to do so and I don't think it is the right thing to do. I don't think it is negative to draw distinctions between himself and bush and it is not negative to say what bush has failed at(everything) but he diverts important resources from the real message if he plays into rove's plan. Bush has more money and I don't think he will take the 75 million. Bush will get a small bounce from the convention. I think Kerry has to stop being distracted by theses attacks even though they are lies, and unfair, and agregious. He has to get back on message.
