Just got my first push poll of the season
Edited on Mon Aug-23-04 07:45 PM by RobertSeattle
*69 = 703-961-0500 (God I love #69 and Caller ID) = "EC Research"

Was a very right wing push poll - computerized questions. All the "Right" conservative answers were "Yes" and all the moderate/liberal answers "No"

Questions were on Taxes, Iraq, Gay Marriage, Abortion, "School Choice", and the NRA. They then wanted demographic data on of I attended church and if I ever contributed to charity and I told them none of your business.

1. Here's a bit more about the company in question...(I got it too)

It's a group called Free Eats (it even lists FECResearch.com as one of their sites).

http://www.freeeats.com/listenPolitical.asp has some samples of their "surveys".

(click on the on 8th one down in the list if you want a real barf experience)

ccAdvertising utilizes its patented (patents pending) Interactive Voice Response – Speech Recognition (IVRSR) method to ensure that our political, public policy and service organization clients have their messages reach the households they have targeted, usually based on location or anticipated household demographics. That's right into a state, Congressional District, state legislative district, city, block or 9-digit zip-code. This is done by utilizing either client-provided voter files and/or our own in-house database of over 120 million records (updated regularly) that lists the Congressional, State House, State Senate and 9-digit zip code of every home listed.
