Macho men: Who’s tougher in the Kerry v. Bush battle?
American Presidents are expected to have the swagger of John Wayne, the steel spine of Achilles, and the courage of Pat Tillmen.

That’s why Jimmy Carter was a gutless failure.

....

In the end it is clear that neither candidate warrants the title of macho man. So when all is said and done, I’ll probably waste my vote on John McCain. After all, any guy tough enough to endure years of torture inside the Hanoi Hilton can handle Al-Qaeda.

1. BULLSH**!
Kerry is A MAN. Bush is a whiny puffed up puppet.

Kerry had the balls to volunteer for Nam and serve where the casualty rate was 85 f**king percent. Then he had the balls to come home and take on Nixon and his goons and prevent even more carnage.

I have gone from ABB to LOVIN' Kerry. He is a MAN, baby.

3. Kerry was on a boat
While * was drinking a beer state side. They can criticize Kerry all day long, but the core matter is who was where when. * can speak brave words and use others to attack, he has the might of our military to do the work he rattles on about. But Kerry was there, in hostile territory, putting his life on the line. He had the balls to do it, and he had the balls to expose it and the flim flam that it was.

Bush has balls now - only they are someone else's. Our kids.

2. Who is tougher on terrorism, Kerry who shut down the terrorist's bank
and exposed the terrorist's networks in the 80s or Bush who made his money doing deals with those banks and the Bin Laden who Kerry had arrested?

In fact, if Reagan and Bush cronies hadn't worked so hard to stop him, Kerry could have had terror stopped at its roots when he exposed BCCI. Really is too bad that people like Cheney called him a "conspiracy theory nut" and worked AGAINST his efforts to expose the connections between international financiers and international terrorist networks. Nice of the press to cover for the Bush cronies, too.

4. Sigh...What a joke. I'm shocked he didn't just out and out say Bush
My favorite President ever is Lincoln. Not macho, but more of a "man" than Baby Bushie ever could be.

5. What a crock, Straight!
And John McCain, Guts? Yeah, he could handle Al-Qaeda, alright, just like he stands up to the shrub.

Finally, the last thing we need is someone who is a Reagan wannabe. Those guys with the swagger but none of the knowledge, integrity and true, considered, courage, are the same guys who got us into this mess. A bully, actor/con-man, with the smirk to match is NO MATCH for someone of John Kerry's caliber.

And Jimmy Carter also had more guts that any of the crap you mentioned in your e-mail.

7. Agreed
And Jimmy Carter also had more guts that any of the crap you mentioned in your e-mail.

Jimmy may not have been perfect, but I would damn well prefer him to what we have now. Carter had/has true compassion. thanks for your insight and views!

8. Kerry will be the TOUGHEST SOB president this century!!!!

Kerry is nothing short of a mega-jock. At 60 years of age the man fucking windsurfs!!!!

Seriously, the guy played hockey all through college, then he voluteered for swiftboat duty in Vietnam. The guy bikes, skis, snowboards, and unlike that pussy Bush, he isn't afraid of horses!!!!

All this is about is trying to puff up this mega-pussy Bush. They want to make him look athletic so they buy him a baseball team. Did Bush PLAY baseball in college ... NO. Did he play baseball at prep school ... NO. What did Bush do .... he was a cheerleader. No, not one of those guys who stand attractive cheerleaders asses on their hands. No, bush WAS the girl and cheered then boys while they did battle.

Jeez, I'm a geek and even I made the high school team!!!! Dubaya was and still is a mega-pussy. It would take Kerry a couple seconds to rip Bush apart "mono-a-mono".
