"Kerry is losing his cool" The latest meme from the Bush campaign.
I've heard about 3 Bush surrogates say this in the last two days. I think they're losing control of their bladders frankly. :eyes:

The Bushies seem a bit "frightened" of what's to come? :evilgrin:

I shall await with glee the counter offensive from the "un-cool" Mr. Kerry.

:hi:

Same thing they did to McCain.

4. It's the same thing Shrub did in 2000, and Daddy Bush did in '88
It's a stale tactic the Bushes always use. It's called "Slime and Defend." They smear shit on their opponent, then act surprised when the opponent gets pissed off about it.

Racicot used the phrase, "wild-eyed" when speaking of Kerry's reaction to the smear, and Snotty Scotty said he "lost his cool." This will go on and on unless somebody calls them on it. I hope Kerry will come out with an ad that shows how they have done this same stupid thing over and over in every campaign. It would be hilarious and would make the Shrub look like an even bigger ass.

8. Kerry campaign needs to have "Daily Show" type montages of
Repub talking points. It's a hilarious and very effective approach.

17. Like the quick-edits in "Outfoxed"
It becomes abundantly clear what kind of brainwashing techniques are being used when you see the individual instances strung together in rapid succession. MoveOn should put together an ad like this.

11. And Al Gore AND Howard Dean

If you want mentally/emotionally unstable, you need only turn on reich wing radio. Those guys froth at the mouth so much they need rabies shots on the hour.

Oh, if we could only get some tapes of Bush's moments when not being filmed.

3. They always sound like they're talking about themselves
Derailed, off the hinges, off track, over the top, out of the mainstream. Lately, I just take it be code for them telling me about what's happening inside the Bush* campaign.

7. Whatever they say about somebody else, it's a sure bet
that it actually describes their behavior.

Classic pathology called "projection."

13. Right out of the Rove Cookbook
Recipe:

Start with 2 cups of audacious, unfounded lies;

Whisk with RW media base;

Sweeten with mainstream media acceptance;

Leaven by accusing victim of instability when responding;

Bake at 350 degrees until Nov 3rd

15. Taking a step back from all this
which isn't easy, the last couple of days are showing team * on the defense on all this. I don't think that's where they planned to be. It's going to be very difficult to portray Kerry as a wild-eyed nutcase when the rap on him so far has been his New Englad reserve getting in the way.

18. I was about to say the same thing
Kerry...the one who is too cold, too unemotional, is now too wild eyes? The interesting thing is that they are using the same technique they used om McCain and have not developed a new one. One would think a man as smart as Rove would not have had to recycle. Shows how empty their arsenal is.

20. I say the Kerry aids and volunteers
use a double negative, passive agressive, "This stuff about Kerry losing his cool, is like us going out and giving credibility to the meme going around DC that * is being medicated" We are not doing this and the * camp should know better and start getting on with the issues. If they are asked to further explain turn it on the reporter, "you what we are talking about, I want to talk about healthcare......"

That will get the rumor mill going big time, and then someone else can innocently tie in the "drunk driving records" of both Cheney and *
and say with a straight face "we haven't campaigned on that issue".

21. The interesting thing about the R's is the upper level surrogates spread
this stuff. While the Dems generally don't dare.

Time to start the "Bush is on drugs" meme is right!
