Absence sure makes the heart grow fonder, especially with Mike Barnicle in there. :puke: Is Matthews ill again?

6. Supposedly He'll Be Back Today
This is major vacation time for the talking heads...coming up are the conventions and then the stretch run...Tweety needs to have his feather fluffed and reload his spetum for the long hard slog ahead. They promoed last night that Tweety was supposed to be back this evening. I kinda miss his Pretzl Logic

7. But won't all the political guys & gals at MSNBC be on break while the Olympics are on?
I heard that the MSNBC nightly news/political shows will be on hiatus during the Olympics.

17. Nope...drop the R....say "Wista" now you've got it
The rule of thumb is; drop the "R" if the word ends with an "R", and add an "R" if the word ends with a vowel. You non-Bostonians really screwed up the english language after the Pilgrim ancestors left Plymouth Rock.

12. What's wrong with Barnicle?
He's better than Tweety and seems to be fairly Obama-friendly.

13. he's not very intelligent, a bad interviewer, not inquisitive that way Tweety is, and I have found
him really negative towards Obama.

16. I'll give you those first three
but I just haven't seen a lot of negativity towards Obama. I guess I'll watch tonight and pay closer attention.

with some, "really negative toward Obama" actually may mean "not negative enough toward Clinton."
