Swift Boat member skips rally over fliers at Bush campaign office

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A member of a group that has run ads attacking John Kerry's Vietnam War record pulled out of an anti-Kerry rally over the weekend after learning that it was promoted at the local headquarters for President Bush's campaign.

But the best part is the last sentence:

Activists for both candidates showed up at the event, with more than 70 Kerry supporters competing with a smaller, pro-Bush contingent.

The Swift Boat Vets that were scheduled to speak at the rally, bailed out like rats on a sinking ship.

I thought it was very nice of the repugs to organize a picnic for all of us Kerry supporters. We had a great time.

is none other than Dineen Wolfersheim. According to the Gainesville Sun article, she is the secretary of the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee.

I thinks she's the perfect poster girl for the freeper cause.

in this picture. The guy on stage with the Kerry/Edwards sign doesn't count.

that they felt the need to refer to them only as "a smaller, pro-Bush contingent," not calling attention to how much smaller.

I seem to recall from another thread that there were about 30 Bush supporters, but I could be wrong.

4. i said before that we should ALL do this at other similar events they hold

show up with pro kerry signs and also hold up signs with racist bigoted quotes made by swift boat co author corsi to help expose them to others.
