The heroism of George W. Bush
Ummmm, let's see. Well, he protected Texas airspace during Vietnam (until he decided to go to Alabama, or somewhere).

Ahhhh. 9/11/01. It took guts to sit in that classroom. Sure, the country was under attack, but, hey, can't scare the kids.

The rest of 9/11/01. Slyly dodging around the country on Air Force One to throw the terrorists into confusion. And it worked. They didn't get him. What a guy. James Bond is dying of envy.

"BRING IT ON!" Boy, now here's a guy who won't take crap from anyone.

John McCain, Max Cleland, John Kerry, George W. Bush: Yeah, I know there's one name that doesn't belong there, but given our heroic president, I'm having trouble figuring which name to remove.

Planning to show up in New York next week. Now that goes beyond guts. That's chutzpah incarnate.

Any other episodes you can think of?

1. Spin # 975: Advanced Anamatronics?
It was actually a high tech cyborg sitting in the classroom. They made the switch on the way to the school that morning. It's all very hush, hush and the White House doesn't want to go into too many details... Rest assured 'Mercans! Bushie was back in Washington an hour later, having used the brand new Florida to Washington pneumatic tube. Ooops... you're not supposed to know about that either.

2. He fought a pretzel attempting to choke him and with a little help
from people around him, defeated the pretzel!

As commander in chief, he could award himself a purple heart.

6. The Alamo, Audie Murphy, George W. Bush.
Incredible. All this heroism from the same state.

(On a more serious note, Audie Murphy would probably have puked at the thought of Bush's existence. And Karl Rove would have probably found a way to slime Audie, the most decorated hero in the history of this country, were he running against Bush.)
