1. I heard that a large majority of them sold out in one day with people being put on a waiting list.
So you're probably out of luck already.

did my 6 hours of volunteering and still haven't heard. and i signed up as soon as i got the email, so i have a feeling that unless you are a guest of someone it won't be possible. also, i heard the tickets are going to be barcoded and you have to show that you are the real ticketholder or they invalidate the ticket. but, that just may be a rumor...

oops = meant as a reply to the OP - sorry!

9. The tickets are non-transferable
It's not a rumor.

I wonder how anyone can get them from E-Bay and still have the tickets be valid.

4. You're not completely out of luck ...
McCain's acceptance speech is being held at the Ol' Fudge 'n' Sausage House. It has a 127-person capacity, and I understand there are still plenty of tickets available.

5. Out of luck!! I heard within 24 hrs sold out. With thousands on waiting list---which closed.
So there's no chance unless you get lucky and find one somewhere.

7. Depends on what state you're in
Contact your state's Campaign for Change or Obama for America office. Some states still have tickets available.
