After seeing Alan Colmes finally find his spine, I gotta wonder...
Edited on Wed Aug-13-08 01:48 PM by progressoid
if he keeps it up, will Fox suddenly decide that the Hannity and Colmes Show needs to take a "new direction".

Will it soon be Hannity and Guest? Or the new Sean and Zell show.

Most likely this just a fluke and Alan will go back to his normal milquetoast self. But it sure was fun hearing watching all of those neck veins pump up!

3. Sorry - Link below
I never watch Fox either. In fact I fast forwarded through a bunch of it because it's painful to watch:

Good part starts at 2:50

5. Yeah, there's a Youtube vid where Hannity & co were trying to
jump on top of the Edwards affair and just trying to use it to smear Democrats in general. Then while they were just about to hit critical mass on their righteous indignation, Colmes just fucking undercuts them with, well if cheating on your wife is not keeping your word to your family and means that you aren't trustworthy, it means that McCain's cheating on his first wife is an issue for his presidential campaign.

It brought on this outrage that was completely Hannity and co's own fault because it completely used their own argument against them.

7. I tend to avoid Faux news but
I caught the end of something called "Hannity's America" during a sleepless night.

Ho boy was that a stinker. :puke:

It could easily have been called "Hannity's RNC Talking Points"

9. It is so obvious that Hannity is a RW demagogue
that poses as a journalist...he is worst than Rush because at least Rush shows some intelligence, Hannity just screams and screams with his tiresome: "You're a great American". He would call Hitler "Great American" by his standards. He is as bad as that loser racist Mark Levine :puke:

6. Insanity excuses anything McCain does because he was a
POW for five and a half years. We will have to hear this ad naseum until the election. It excuses nothing. He has milked that for all it's been worth.

10. He's always been like this on his radio program
Edited on Wed Aug-13-08 02:00 PM by eleny
His program is aired late at night on our only left wing radio station. So I often listen for an hour before drifting off. He has such good shows that it's like he's two people. On his radio show he lets nothing get past him, he talks to wingnuts until they up or he hangs up on them if it comes to it. He allows absolutely no nonsense in my experience of listening.

I'm glad he's allowing his bolder side to speak out on this issue during the campaign. I watched the video and will watch again. he trumped everyone including Hannity and admonished Hannity who tried to talk over him. This is great.

11. I was a fan of Alan Colmes' radio show in the 1980s...
...before the Fox News cable channel was created.

13. Great clip!!! Colmes nailed the Hannity hypocrisy
And the delicious thing is, Hannity was hoisted by his own petard. So sweet.

And doesn't Hannity appear so small and pathetic - especially after the return from the commercial break and he's talking about mr. Hair or something? What a tool.

16. It was a fluke. Colmes will be rebuked by his bosses for interrupting
the Sean Hannity Glamour Power Hour and things will go back to normal at Faux.
