If you turn off CNN and stop watching this channel, you will help elect Barack Obama

They are promoting Corsi's book, and have failed to inform viewers as to why the book is debuting at number 1 on the best seller list. This is reporting by omission......

CNN is not in business to serve the American people's best interest, and no matter how curious you might be about what they are saying, if most people just turn them off, they will have no audience to lie to.

In addition, you are welcome to write to them. Here is a link that provides individual reporters' feeback pages down at the bottom, and the actual shows as well. http://www.cnn.com/feedback/cnntv/

Also, you can suggest a "story" idea, and I know for a fact that they read those. feedback site called "sent us story ideas" - suggest that they investigate how this smear book rose to number 1, and give them some help with it:
http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form11b.html?2

You can also send your frustration on coverage of what you see or read about about to the various media watchdog groups. If they get enough complaint, they will investigate, in particular, Media Matters and FAIR.

Media Matters mm-tips@mediamatters.org

The media doesn't get as many letters as people presume, because so many people presume that others are writing. That's not really the case that so many others are writing, and you should know that when you do send letters, those letters are taken into consideration. Journalists on television are like stars in their own eyes, and they want to see the feedback, kind of like reading fan letters in their mind.

It is terrifyingly maddening to have such an excellent superior candidate, but somehow hear him being judged unequally to a lesser candidate; John McCain. Well, in reference to that, I just want to welcome everyone to the world of African-Americans....where often one has to be twice as good to get half as far. There is a double standard, and if you see it, you must write to the reporters about it. They must know that we are clearly seeing what they are doing, and we must call them out on it. I have addresses of just about everyone in the media, and I write constantly. Everyone needs to know that yes, writing does make a difference.......cause the media doesn't want to appear biased, even if they are. If they sense that too many people who are on to them and bothered to the point that they are writing, the media will feel the need to correct that perception. They know that for every letter, there are at least 100 people who feel the same, but just aren't writing.

Remember that they can't attempt to sway the population in an election, if too many of the population knows what they are up to and can point to example after example. The only way that they can have sway is to be credible. That's where we come in at. The media has to do what it does, but to some extent, we can make it more difficult for them. And no, it isn't hard to write....as most DUers write very well, thank you.

Obama is a stellar candidate, and if we had a fair media, he'd be up by 25 points in every state. But instead, we have a fucked up corporate media only interested in protecting the interest of its shareholders, and that is really a large part of the problem in present day politics. That is why writing to the media and raising hell is the way to level out the playing field just enough to win this thing....and that, we must do....and yes, Barack Obama, without question, one of the most gifted politicians seen in this country in years, can win..... but he needs us. Just like the Clinton supporters raised hell with the media during the primaries, and it did bring some relief, Obama, our nominee is the one that needs our help, and our faith. He also needs you to have faith in the American people, no matter how many here want to think the worst of White America. I'm Black and I have faith that folks will do the right thing. So does Obama. And so, you need to have faith in people yourself. Without it, we are doomed...and so we need you, and we need you here and we need you positivity and we need you active as another voice for Obama and against John McCain.

IN OTHER WORDS, DON'T FEEL HELPLESS, DON'T FEEL FRUSTRATED,
DON'T EVEN FEEL MAD....BUT MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD, AND GET EVEN!

They insure a book is a best seller and so the racist media is "forced" to talk about it.

5. I simply cannot stand rodents!
As a FrenchieCat, I probably should find them delish....but instead, they scare me to death....even to see a photograph of one makes me nauseous.

Can you change that photo, so that I won't be afraid to come into my own thread?

Thanks.

9. My "Story Idea" sent to CNN:
John McCain is an unbelievably arrogant man, and he appears to believe himself to be the President of the United States when he is not. I am waiting for the media to give equal treatment to the manner they treated Barack Obama just a couple of weeks ago, when all day for a few days was a question on his presumptiousness and his "uppitiness". I believe that CNN has the duty to do the same story about John McCain, with his weekly radio addresses, calling himself President, telling the world that he speaks for the American people, and sending an "delegation" to Georgia. Either CNN is in the business of news or is biased for the White status quo pro Corporation Republican candidate. Which is it? I will be contacting sponsors shortly, and for now have decided to tune your channel out. Your manner of reporting is obvious and blatant and makes CNN treasonous in the manner that it attempts to influence our democracy. To much power in the wrong hands is what I observe when watching CNN these days.

Thank you,

17. Why did it debut at #1 on the best sellers list anyway?
Did the GOP pre-order 1 million copies of it or something? I can't believe it's because folks are heading to the book stores in droves to buy it.

and everyone should write at least one letter a day.

The fact that many of us don't is literally a crime. :(

22. There are plenty of people who would be willing to submit letters others wrote
Newspapers generally don't like to print more than a couple of letters a year from the same person. Some of us are prolific, and could lend our talents to those wanting to say something but having trouble getting it on paper.

24. I can't stand CNN
I had on CNN's Headline News channel the other day and some douche was saying that Edwards should never be president because if you can't trust him with his family how can you trust him with the country?

Umm...as far as we know, Bush hasn't cheated on Laura and yet he's totally screwed us all over.

CNN has Glenn Beck on their payroll. Enough reason to avoid their channel.

Aside from it being demeaning to watch, all you'll get from watching that channel is misinformed.
